Ski guiding at Gaustatoppen postponed

We have cancelled our scheduled guided ski tours to Gaustatoppen, until beginning of April. This is because of unstable snow and challenging conditions for avalanche assessment in the area. This winter has been special in many ways, with a lot of snow early in the season and low temperatures, which affects the basis for assessing the avalanche danger on Gaustatoppen.

Our guided ski trips to Gaustatoppen starts again first weekend in April, after we have done a new assessment of the avi hazard in the area. Updated conditions for skiing at Gaustatoppen and other areas are available on our snow conditions page.
